Aristo Sham Makes His Concerto Debut with the NCPA Orchestra in Two Concerts

On June 5 and 6, pianist Aristo Sham made his concerto debut with the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra at the NCPA Concert Hall in Beijing, joining the conductor Li Biao. Across the two performances, he presented two contrasting concerto masterpieces: Piano Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky and Piano Concerto in A Minor by Grieg, showcasing distinctly different musical worlds. Ahead of the concerts, Sham was featured in interviews with Interlude and Amadeus TV (MusicToday), reflecting on the year since winning the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and sharing insights into his artistic growth and experiences. His interpretation of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor also received high praise from Music Weekly, one of China’s leading professional music publications.
