The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center

Asian Touring

“An exploding star in the musical firmament.”

The Wall Street Journal

We proudly manage the Asian touring of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS), one of the eleven constituents of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. CMS boasts a diverse array of performances throughout the globe as well as many prestigious educational programs and radio broadcasting events. We continue to look forward to sharing these exciting chamber music programs with Asia.

ABOUT THE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS), the premier chamber music organization of its kind in the world today, is expanding its already considerable international presence. Under the artistic direction of David Finckel and Wu Han, Musical America’s 2012 Musicians of the Year, CMS brings its trademark artistic excellence to every touring performance, providing presenters with beautifully crafted programs that represent the very best of the chamber music art form, performed by world-renowned artists.

THE CMS DIFFERENCE
  • PROGRAMMING: Always creative and engaging, CMS programs are created in collaboration with presenters, and comprise repertoire that ranges from the standard chamber music literature to the finest chamber works of our time, performed by ensembles of various sizes and instrumental combinations.

  • ROSTER: Over 140 artists, representing more than two dozen countries, currently perform for CMS in the United States and around the globe. Virtually every CMS ensemble is both multi-national and multi-generational. Musicians are selected for each program according to their repertoire specialties and interests.

  • TRUSTED PARTNER: With a successful track record of more than 40 years of touring, CMS maintains its reputation as the best, most viable, and trusted chamber music partner for presenters worldwide.

  • EDUCATION: The CMS roster includes some of America’s foremost teachers, from conservatories and universities such as The Juilliard School, Yale University, the Curtis Institute, New England Conservatory, and more. While on tour, CMS welcomes opportunities to share with talented young musicians the musical expertise, knowledge, and inspiration of its artists.
